Just as I get to a place to make some wealth, the country goes full socialism. The GOP is bragging about letting people NOT PAY TAXES. All while telling the middle folks that WE DESERVE TO PAY FOR OTHERS. It's fucking irritating. I am going to predict today a HUGE stay-home contingent in the midterms that is pissed off about the fact that all these promises of "historic tax cuts" ARE NEVER GOING TO MATERIALIZE FOR THEM.

And that's alot of pissed off people - ALL THE ONES PAYING TAXES TODAY THAT GET NOTHING FOR VOTING FOR REPUBLICANS.

I paid for my own birth control. I made $2.75 an hour with no experience. I paid to raise my kids ALL BY MYSELF. I got a job if I wanted pre-existing conditions covered. I paid for daycare when I wanted to go back to work. When I made tips, I paid taxes. I'm paying more than QUADRUPLE in FICA taxes than a boomer ever dreamed of and benefits get cut year after year. Boomers, the same folks WHO HAD NO SALT CAP ON STATE AND LOCAL TAXES TO DEDUCT.

Now I'm told that I need to fund all of this stuff for someone else just at the moment I am trying to build my own wealth. And I'm not the only one who will notice.
